Central Library was established in the year 1975 in a single room in the Administration building. Later in the year 2000 it was shifted in to its own building. Central Library is completely automated with Radio Frequency Identification Device security system with KOHA open-access Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS) and has digital library facility.
Library caters to the information needs of Faculty, Research Scholars, PG and UG Students on the campus. The Central Library of the University is equipped with quality books, journals and magazines and E- resources like e books, e- journals and digitized Theses. Moreover, departmental libraries with quality books also exists in various departments. Total area of the library 2041 Sq. Mts. Sitting capacity for patrons is 200. Efforts are being made to increase the sitting capacity. Sections of Central Library: Acquisition and Technical Section, Stack area and Issues, Return Section, Periodical Section, Newspaper and Magazine, Reading Room, E-Resources Lab, Shodhganga Lab, Reference Section, Thesis Section.
